With all the talk of economic chaos around the globe, Australia has not been immune to it. In the health food industry I have heard of several health food shops closing down and others not doing so well. On the other hand, Eden Healthfoods has been going from strength to strength and we owe it all to God in Heaven. In the last couple of months we have had record sales and have had trouble getting all the orders out on time. People vote with their wallet and economic climate can change the way people spend their money. Non-essential items may suffer and poor quality or over-priced health products may fall by the wayside. In a time of plenty and growth, even poor quality health products can be successful. But people are weighing up their options a little more carefully and only the best things are being considered.
