Maca is a food so it can be taken almost in any way. The most common way is that people put it into their smoothies or shakes. However, we also recommend Maca on oats, cereals, home made nut creams, juices or even soups. We recommend you begin by consuming about ½ a teaspoon of Maca per day for 5 days, then progress to 1-2 teaspoons per day. However, we have had reports of some women benefiting more from having ½ teaspoon and others from 1 tablespoon. So take your time in gauging how much your body needs.
