WHY CHOOSE ORGANIC CLOTHING?
Manufacturers coat their wares in seriously toxic chemicals at several different stages, from colouring fabrics to finishing pieces. Man-made materials (like acrylic) contain harmful chemicals, and conventional cottons are grown with genetically modified seeds and sprayed heavily. Chemicals found in materials and dyes use known carcinogens and endocrine disruptors. It’s best to wear organic fabrics, sustainably sourced, that use natural dyes where possible.
With such an over exposure to daily chemicals, from the food we eat to the clothes we wear, periodic detoxing is necessary. It will assist the body rid itself of toxic chemicals, and avoid accumulation in the body!

We purchased this organic shirt from a manufacturer that shows the Fair Share label. These products carry a small price premium that is passed directly on to the garment workers in India towards their Living Wage. Adding as little as 10 cents to the price of a T-shirt, or 54 cents to the price of a hoody, will result in a 50% increase in the wages of the poorest workers at their factory in India.
A small change makes a big difference!
Working together with other conscious fashion entities, they have implemented a scheme that aims to deliver a LIVING WAGE for the garment workers at its factory in India. The first stage of the wage increase has come into effect from 1st January 2016 and covers the entire workforce.
